In Memory & Legacy Giving
A gift in memory
Celebrate the life of a loved one by asking friends and family to give a donation in their memory. By supporting Carers in Bedfordshire in their mission to improve the lives and wellbeing of carers, donating in memory provides a fitting legacy that will last for years to come.
The gift could be in lieu of flowers or cards at the funeral or just because your loved one felt connected to our cause, maybe through voluntary involvement or through using one or more of our variety of services.
You could organise the gift through a fundraising page on Wonderful.org, an organisation that passes no costs onto the charities. Create your own page and have friends and family leave stories and treasured memories along with their donations.
Or if your loved ones prefer to use cheques, they can be made payable to “Carers in Bedfordshire” and sent to: Suite K, Sandland Court, Pilgrim Centre, Brickhill Drive, Bedford, MK41 7PZ
Leaving a legacy
A donation left in your Will is a long-lasting gift that will ensure a cause that you support can continue its work into the future. Donating to Carers in Bedfordshire in this way allows us to continue supporting carers of all ages across the county and improving their physical and mental wellbeing.
A legacy shouldn’t be a choice between your loved ones and your favourite charity, the gift can be of any size to make sure that there is security for your loved ones and your chosen charity.
It is simple to include a donation as part of your Will but it is always best to consult your solicitor to make sure that it represents your wishes accurately and that you understand the tax implications.
Your solicitor should ask you for the charity’s details which are below:
Carers in Bedfordshire, Suite K, Sandland Court, Pilgrim Centre, Brickhill Drive, Bedford, MK41 7PZ
Registered Charity Number: 1135507
